By accessing or using Bidsurance ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including consumers seeking insurance quotes and licensed insurance agents providing quotes.

2. Description of Service

Bidsurance is a marketplace platform that connects consumers with licensed insurance agents. Similar to a dating app for insurance, our sole purpose is to make introductions. We are not responsible for interactions, quotes, or coverage provided by agents. Furthermore, users should note that providing kickbacks, rebates, or discounts as an inducement to purchase insurance is illegal. Bidsurance does not sell insurance directly, provide insurance advice, or guarantee any specific pricing or coverage. All insurance products are sold by third-party licensed agents and carriers.

3. User Accounts

You may browse the Platform without an account. To submit quote requests, you must create an account or use our anonymous submission feature. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Agent Requirements

Insurance agents must hold valid, active licenses in the states where they intend to provide quotes. Agent accounts require approval before gaining access to consumer quote requests. Agents must provide accurate license information and comply with all applicable insurance regulations. Bidsurance reserves the right to revoke agent access at any time.

5. Communications & Notifications

Email notifications on Bidsurance are purely optional. You may choose to receive email confirmations of your quote submissions and agent responses, but this is never required. You can toggle notification preferences at any time during the quote submission process. We will never send unsolicited marketing emails without your explicit consent.

6. Quote Submissions

Quote requests submitted through Bidsurance are shared with approved, licensed agents. By submitting a quote, you consent to agents viewing your submitted information for the purpose of providing insurance quotes. Quote requests may expire after a set period and can be renewed by the user. Bidsurance does not guarantee that you will receive responses from agents.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information. Chat messages between consumers and agents are private and not monitored by Bidsurance staff, though metadata (timestamps, participant counts) may be visible to administrators.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Providing false or misleading information in quote requests or agent profiles
• Impersonating another person or licensed agent
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempting to circumvent security measures or access controls
• Soliciting users outside of the Platform using information obtained through Bidsurance
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users through the chat system

9. Disclaimers

Bidsurance is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any quotes, agent information, or other content on the Platform. Insurance quotes provided through the Platform are estimates and may differ from final policy pricing. Bidsurance is not an insurance company and does not underwrite, sell, or administer insurance policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bidsurance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
